Who We Are

Synapse Mobile is a small New Zealand based company that prides itself on service and responsiveness. Synapse Mobile was established as a separate entity from Synapse Group early in 2012 to focus on providing a comprehensive App testing service. We continue to build on the expertise and experience that was developed over several years at Synapse Group.

Jae Russell has over 26 years experience in management and technical roles in the Telecommunications and IT industries, including the testing of mobile Apps, mobile devices and desktop software. Jae is experienced in managing development teams and processes including the development and documentation of test/QA procedures and test plans, and in deploying and supporting software solutions.

Jae manages the operations of the company and provides testing services and consulting to clients.

Wendy Russell - Tester and UI Expert

Wendy Russell has a background in psychology, neuroscience and graphic design. This allows her to take a methodological approach to testing and the appraisal of intuitive design, including user interaction and process flows. Wendy is an experienced editor and proofreader, providing a 'second set of eyes' for the detection of content and layout errors.

Wendy provides testing services and advice about UI and graphical presentation to clients.
